Believe it or not, Greater Western New York was defined by a specific Treaty shortly after the Revolutionary War (and before America began meeting to discuss what became the United States Constitution). In fact, we call the date this Treaty was signed “the birthday of Greater Western New York.” How do you celebrate our region’s birthday? What? You don’t know what date it is?
